We are currently seeking an IT Support Desk Analyst to provide 1st level support (telephone, email, and remote support) to all Wyntec Clients, ensuring all issues are logged, responded to, and resolved within our KPIs/ and agreed timeframes.

The role will involve you answering inbound phone calls, providing technical support to end users, making phone calls to follow-up issues, as well as engaging with 3rd party providers/vendors for additional support.

You’ll be hands-on with many technologies from remote support to onsite work – covering servers, desktops, networks, cloud, and security applications.

Responsibilities

Other Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Ensure updates and interactions are recorded within the Tickets and updated in a timely manner
  • Ensure tickets are escalated and followed up
  • Proactively provide updates and communication to clients for tickets and project activities.
  • Ensure Clients are satisfied with the work being performed
  • Follow-up 3rd Party Providers
  • Triage technical incidents and requests and gather required information for escalation internally or to external providers.
  • Maintain documentation and procedures

Skills and experience

For this position you need to have demonstrated skills and experience in the following:

  • Demonstrated experience in providing Level 1 Support in a Service Desk environment
  • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting basic to moderate IT problems through to resolution.
  • Demonstrated experience providing phone and email troubleshooting support to all internal and external users to resolve issues and technical requests (including PC, peripherals, mobile devices, and system software issues) in a timely manner.
  • Microsoft 365 & SharePoint
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Windows Server
  • Network Infrastructure
  • Backup and Disaster Recovery Technologies
  • Cyber Security Applications and Best Practices
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on customer service and team player approach.
  • A resolution-focused attitude with the ability to problem solve through effective questioning and active listening.
  • Self-motivated and pro-active attitude
  • Good time management skills to manage your workload.
  • The ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing requirements

Experience

Highly desirable experience:

  • Prior experience working in a MSP – IT Managed Service Provider
  • Microsoft Certifications or other industry certification
  • SharePoint experience
  • Experience in Virtualisation Technologies (HyperV preferred)
  • VOIP Technologies
  • ConnectWise Manage/ Automate or other RMM experience
